For comparison, my A7rii body, 55mm 1.8 & 35mm 2.8 lenses and Godox V850 strobe fits in this bag.

Hope that helps and thanks for visiting my blog! Think i might even want to get a second one (but then again, adjusting the levels on 8 individual strobes may be a bit excessive) ;-)

Sounds like a cool lighting setup you have there. The Quantums are really nice - love the power and the ability to adjust levels remotely. Might invest in a set myself in the future.

Nice work on your site, btw. :-)MauiPhotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17387143068297541583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095325784468987515.post-3873718704316889462013-06-18T06:21:46.618-10:002013-06-18T06:21:46.618-10:00Thanks Todd.

Really built well- but it got stolen and he doesn't seem to be making them anymore.

I travel with a 3 light kit - 2 Quantum T5d's and an SB-800, plus the 2 -SB900's in my camera bag. Handles a lot of different situations. Love using the Remote head on the Quantum for boxes- keeps the body of the flash outside the box for controls with an 8' cable.

That way I have the equiv. power of 2 speedlights or more in the box, but very lightweight & small inside - and controls where I can get at them. But the speed lights are amazing little things too.....

This frame is with the Quantum, Wescott 28x28" box and SB-800 as backlight on the right:
http://www.jeffellisphoto.com/#/People/p/2Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00510753099467071651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095325784468987515.post-26271059681880187722013-06-14T11:26:28.638-10:002013-06-14T11:26:28.638-10:00Aloha Jeff,

Lightroom usually takes care of any noise that pops up.

Lately however, I've been running dual speed lights when I want to push more power into the Orb. Two speedlights lets me cut power on both flashes and gives me an even faster recycle time.

Thanks for visiting the blog!

Mahalo!MauiPhotohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17387143068297541583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095325784468987515.post-17005907142727204832013-06-14T04:39:30.030-10:002013-06-14T04:39:30.030-10:00I know this is an older post, but hoping you'r...I know this is an older post, but hoping you're watching. I also share in your disappointment regarding the included clamp that comes with the VML for attaching it to a light stand.

Because of my repeated frustration with trying to get the VML securely mounted to any one of my light stands, I recently designed a new mounting system for the Vagabond Mini Lithium that I thought you (and the readers of your post) might find helpful in ending your search for the best way to mount your VML to a light stand. It's called the VML Bracket, and is making quite a name for itself as the ultimate mounting solution for the Vagabond Mini Lithium. For more information on the VML Bracket visit http://www.vmlbracket.com, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
JoeJoe Jackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17155360271671050651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095325784468987515.post-46562675034110416492011-11-24T02:20:54.497-10:002011-11-24T02:20:54.497-10:00yep. agreed about the plastic mounts for the poppe...yep. agreed about the plastic mounts for the poppers... they need some cnc'd billet aluminumcoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17941331512412175566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1095325784468987515.post-45141787685740417262011-09-24T12:01:21.807-10:002011-09-24T12:01:21.807-10:00That's such an awesome location.
